I know it’s easy to play Monday morning quarterback someone else’s writing but I can’t help but think that a slow-burning relationship between Harry and Hermione would have been more interesting than the (poorly-written) relationship that emerged between Harry and Ginny in HPB. Then again I think JKR just doesn’t do romance well.
